I'm Eila, a family photographer based in Colares, Portugal. I capture natural, heartfelt photographs of families who call the Sintra-Cascais region home.
No stiff posing. No pressure to be perfect. Just your family, exactly as you are.

Family life isn't always picture-perfect. Children run around, get distracted, make funny faces, and sometimes refuse to cooperate.
And that's okay.
I believe the most beautiful family photographs happen when you stop trying to make everything look perfect and simply enjoy being together.
A spontaneous hug. A burst of laughter. The way your child looks at you when they think nobody is watching.

Whether you've recently moved to Portugal or have called this place home for years, I'd love to capture this chapter of your family's life.
Based in Colares, I photograph families throughout Sintra and Cascais, including Praia das Maçãs, Azenhas do Mar, Guincho, and the surrounding areas.
Together, we'll choose a location that feels right for you.

Before your session
We'll choose a location that feels right for your family, whether that's your home, the beach, or somewhere in nature. I'll help you with any questions about what to wear or how to prepare.
During your session
We'll spend up to 45 minutes together, allowing your children to play, explore, and connect naturally with you.
I'll offer gentle direction when needed, but there's no pressure to pose or perform.
After your session
I'll carefully edit your photographs and prepare your gallery, where you'll choose your favorites.
You'll receive beautiful, high-resolution images to keep, share, and print, along with professional prints of the moments you love most.

Your session includes:
Up to 45 minutes of photography at home or outdoors
20+ professionally edited, high-resolution digital images of your choice
10 professional prints of your favorite photographs (13 × 19 cm)
Gentle guidance before and during your session
Optional extras
Additional digital images: €22 each
Additional 30 minutes of photography: €80
Travel outside the Sintra–Cascais area may involve an additional fee, agreed upon beforehand

That's completely normal! Children don't need to sit still or smile on command. We'll follow their rhythm, make space for play, and let the moments unfold naturally.

Whatever makes you feel comfortable and like yourselves. I recommend simple clothing that allows you to move freely. I'm happy to help you coordinate outfits without making everyone look identical.

At your home, on a beach, in the forest, or another meaningful location in the Sintra–Cascais region. We'll decide together.

Not at all. I'll gently guide you whenever needed. Most of the time, I'll simply encourage you to interact with each other so I can capture genuine connections.

I'm a photographer, a mother of two boys, and someone who knows just how quickly childhood passes.
I know that getting everyone ready for a family photo session can feel like another thing on an already endless to-do list.
That's why I keep things simple.
I don't expect your children to sit still, smile on command, or behave perfectly. I want them to feel free to explore, play, cuddle, and be themselves.
I'll gently guide you, but I'll also leave room for those beautiful, spontaneous moments that happen when nobody is trying too hard.
My goal isn't to create the perfect family portrait.
It's to capture the people you love, the connections you share, and the little moments you'll want to hold on to.
