An authentic expression of children is the most important thing.
Regardless of whether the photoshoot takes place indoors or outdoors, the most important thing in my work is to capture an authentic, genuine smile or laugh from each child. To achieve this, I try to lighten the atmosphere with little movement games so that the children are in a relaxed and joyful mood. The laughter or smile I want to elicit should not be the result of a specific request, but rather arise “by chance” because the child “feels” that way at that moment.
In situations where the child is not in the mood to smile, I prefer an expressive look into the camera.

I have photographed over a thousand children and learned a lot in the process. With every photo-shoot, I discover more and more about the different stages of development, characters, and special traits of these little ones, which I find personally very enriching. I really enjoy looking at the photos of the little ones on my computer later, sorting them, and editing them.
